Ribbon-cutting for the NEW Corning Veterans' Resource Center
The Corning Chamber of Commerce invites the community to celebrate the new Corning Veterans' Resource Center with a ribbon-cutting on Thursday, February 5, 11AM, 1301 Solano Street at the former Miners Inn.
The Corning Veterans' Resource Center (VRC) is an initiative of the David L. Blanchard VFW Post 4218 and their motto is, "Empowering Veterans, Strengthening Community."
The Corning Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars will open the Corning Veterans Resource Center on February 1.
The VRC will provide comprehensive support, resources, and advocacy that addresses the physical, emotional, and financial needs of local veterans and their families.
The center will work with local, state, and national organizations and businesses to ensure that those few who sacrificed so much will have access to the resources they need to thrive within and strengthen our community.
The Corning VRC will provide vital services to our veterans. These include peer connections, VA benefits information and support, local resources, and more. Visit corningvrc.org to learn more about what this center provides.
Businesses and individuals interested in partnering with or contributing to the VRC should contact the center at corningvrc@gmail.com or call (530) 765-3383.
The Corning Veterans' Resource Center welcomes everyone in our community to “pop in” and learn more about the VRC and how they too can serve those who selflessly served us.
