2026 3rd Annual Snow Cone and Book Giveaway
The Corning Chamber of Commerce invites the community to join us in Tehama County’s Celebrating Children with the "3rd Annual Snow Cone Social and Book Giveaway" at the Chamber office on Friday, April 24, from 2:30 to 4 p.m at 1110 Solano Street.
This event is sponsored by the Tehama County Department of Education Early Learning Programs and Services and the LPC – Local Child Care Planning Council.
Books will be available for children of all ages, also in Spanish, and new this year, we will even have a few in Braille.
Tour the Corning CA Museum and choose your book BEFORE you get your snow cone on your way out!
Also, earlier that same day, the City of Corning will be participating in Tehama County Children’s Memorial Flag Raising at 10 a.m. at the City Hall Flagpole, at the corner of Solano and 3rd Streets, to commemorate a Day of Remembrance to recognize the tragedy of violence against children.
The flag-raising event is co-sponsored by the City of Corning, Tehama County Department of Social Services, and Tehama County 4 Kids.Images
